Senior Team
Our team consists of world class talented individuals with significant experience who have achieved high levels of success in finance, business development, sales and marketing and film/video production. Additionally, the company relies on its network of advisors that includes high level executives at leading websites and social networks, professional sports teams and sports television networks.
CEO and Founder
Jeff has been involved in the building of emerging growth companies for over 10 years with a focus in the technology market. Jeff has been an active investment and merchant banker with a boutique investment bank that assists growing companies in executing their business plans with such tasks as equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and business development initiatives.
Jeff has extensive experience and success in digital media including his time spent as Director of Sales and Business Development for HomeDelivery.com. Joining HomeDelivery.com as a sales rep and one of the first employees of the then start up company, Jeff went on to grow the sales force and dramatically expand the reach of the company. Jeff initiated and singlehandedly ran a sales program that took the company from a local New York business to a national company with a footprint in Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago and San Francisco, all on a $20,000 budget. The company was ultimately acquired by a competitor.
President, Director of Sales Operations
Jordyn Brings a wealth of senior level business development experience to the You Digital Media team, and has successfully built relationships with some of the nations largest companies and their executives. He prides himself in being able to create industry leading sales organizations from the ground up. Prior to Joining You Digital Media, Jordyn spent his career helping to launch several emerging companies and their sales organizations. As Vice President of Eastern Regional Communications, he quickly turned the company into the nations largest wholesaler for Cingular Wireless. After his tenure at ERC, Jordyn turned his attention to WiNK International, who as their EVP of Sales and Marketing transformed a company with just one other part time employee into a multi-million dollar operation with 25 employees, 5 million dollars in company technology.
Jeff has also worked for Fastwired, a New York city based technology investment group focused on providing equity investments and marketing and sales expertise to early stage internet companies. At Fastwired, Jeff reviewed hundreds of business plans and met with countless companies to analyze their businesses and offer his feedback as part of Fastwired’s investment evaluation process.
Jeff has a BS from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Fordham University.
Lead Programmer
Hy has a total of 12 years of experience in software development spanning applications from banking and stock trading to food sales management and crude oil shipping. He has worked for such well known firms as Merrill Lynch, General Foods and Exxon/Mobil as well as a variety of smaller businesses. He is primarily self taught and skilled in many aspects of Web site development including the use of several scripting languages and database management systems.
Head of Programming and Development
Brett is a web developer who is incredibly passionate about computer programming. After graduating from Vanderbilt University with a major in Biomedical Engineering, Brett decided to change his course and pursue web development full time. He has worked on a number of projects, including being the senior web developer at an interactive sports site for fans. There, Brett helped to create a dynamic sports social network that allows users to post and participate in threads, articles, polls, trivia, play fantasy sports and more. In his spare time, Brett enjoys playing guitar, seeing live shows, and exploring the cultural eccentricities that New York City has to offer. He is passionate about the food industry and loves to try new restaurants in New York.
Senior Strategy Advisor
Ari Friedman is a technologically-oriented entrepreneur with a varied and successful background that includes web ventures, real estate and music and media. He is currently the CEO of Nehst Media Enterprises, an entertainment network that produces and distributes feature films, TV, and new media in all outlets.
Among his accomplishments was the creation of Homedelivery.com, a web-based home delivery business that experienced exponential growth prior to being sold to a competitor. Friedman acquired and ran the Broadway Elmhurst Company, LLC, a real estate firm which bought, managed and sold commercial real estate in the New York area.
An accomplished drummer, Friedman also founded Chemical Music, a music label through which he booked bands, negotiated contracts, and assumed promotional responsibility for nationwide tours. He has also composed music for commercial and industrial films. A native New Yorker, Friedman received a BA in Music from New York University and lives in New York with his wife and children.
Advisor
Michael Rosner is a business development and sales professional with executive management experience for sales oriented start ups and "re-starts". He has over ten years of sales and executive management for high growth Internet advertising and internet technology companies.Michael has expertise in building/managing sales teams, closing ad revenue, media selling and buying, branding and direct response advertising campaigns, ad operations, interactive advertising, marketing, online video and rich media.
Michael has a quantified track record of success building, training and running national sales organizations from the ground up. He has been responsible for exponential growth of year over year revenue growth for multiple media and technology organizations.
Most recently Michael has built and expanded EyeWonder’s sales organization over three and a half years, resulting in $110 purchase by Limelight Networks (Closed 4/30/10).
VP, Creative Development
David Weintraub (pictured above with Anderson Silva, the UFC Middleweight Champion) is a freelance media producer, writer, and radio personality. He currently works with the UFC producing their Behind the Scenes footage, and recently authored the Autobiography of UFC Lightweight Champion BJ Penn. In addition to most sports, he is interested in politics, economics, world issues, and current events.
